San Diego Wave FC Suffers 1-0 Defeat to Bay FC at Snapdragon Stadium

Bay FC grabbed an early advantage in the fifth minute after midfielder Taylor Huff split the defense with a through ball to Racheal Kundananji, who buried a first-touch left-footed finish for the lone goal of the match.

San Diego Wave FC earned a penalty in the 16th minute, but Kenza Dali’s attempt rattled off the post and was cleared out of danger.

The Wave continued to apply pressure for the remainder of the contest, holding the edge in shots, 14-10, while controlling much of the possession. Despite several attacking opportunities, San Diego could not find the equalizer.
